After hiring Brinkley to install a ice make I can tell you i was very disappointed, First of all they were suppose to show up at 3 to 3:30 i was called and told it would be later as they were running late; ok. Then when they got there i was told i would have to pay over time charges even though they were late not me to do the job that day, very upsetting. In discussions with the plumber, I was told after completing the work they would charge me for 2 hrs work when i got the bill the charge was for 3 hrs at an over time rate. I called for an explanation the lady on the phone told me the extra hr was for time it took for them to run down parts; and that they always charge for that i told her the plumber told me differently that i was not responsible to pay for time it takes to get parts, i then received a phone call from the plumber he said the charge was for travel time, I don't know which one to believe all I know is the plumber said they don't charge for the time it takes to run down parts, so it seemed pretty misleading that i was charged for what now appears to be travel time; humm! what should I believe.
I am old fashion, tell me something and I will believe it and follow what you said, I feel like i have been mislead in order to meet the statement on the bill; I should not have been charged over time when your company was late, and i believe this sudden change of what i am charged for is just another misleading statement. I have sent you a check but i will not use this company again!
